Conditional Sentences

Type 0
Describes a fact
Structure:
If + Subject + Present verb + Object, Subject + Present verb + Object.
Example:
If there is an earthquake, run out.
If you heat the Ice, It melts.

Type 1
Describes a possible happening
Structure:
If + Subject + present verb + Object, Subject + Will + Finite verb + Object.
Example:
If I study hard, I will pass the exam.

Noun clause:

A clause which comes instead a noun.
It can be replaced with (something or somebody)

Noun and noun clause places:

1.      Subject

2.      Object of verb

3.      Object of preposition

4.      Subjective complement

Example:
Noun as subject:
John goes home.

Word:

a meaningful combination of letters.

Phrase:

a meaningful combination of words.

Clause:

a meaningful combination of words + subject + verb.

Clause:

1.      Independent (meaningful by itself)

2.      Dependent (needs another independent clause to be complete.)

Dependent clauses:

1.      noun clauses

2.      adjective clauses

3.      adverbial clauses

Verbs:

1.      finite verbs

–        ۱۶ tenses

2.      non-finite verbs

–        infinitives
– gerunds
– past participles

Adjective:

used for further definition.
Adjective cannot be used for proper nouns but adjective clauses can be used for
proper nouns.

Adjective clauses:

Describe and limit nouns.
Adjectives come before nouns.

Adjective clauses come after the noun.

Adjective clauses:

1.      restrictive adjective clause

2.      non-restrictive (defining) adjective clauses

Only non-restrictive adjective clauses can be used for proper nouns and it is
necessary to use two comas around them.

Example:

1.      I saw a man who was old in the garden.
(Here “who was old” is a restrictive adjective clause.)

2.      I saw John, who was old, in the garden.
(Here “who was old” is a non-restrictive adjective clause.)

In the contemporary era, children obesity has been subsumed as an exploding crisis in developed countries; therefore, in order to surmount this century monster, a public recognition with regard to the children´s healthy diet is needed to be considered. On one hand, many people think serious academic programs must be held by teachers for children when they are going to primary school, but on the other, some parents believe a panacea for this remedy is providing a nutrition guide for children’s diet health at home. In this essay the merits of both arguments will be analyzed before a personal conclusion is decided upon. However, due to several convincing reasons the first one is discussed.

روشهای تقویت مهارت نوشتاری

به منظور یادگیری زبان یک زبان آموز باید بتواند علاوه بر فراگیری دانش عمومی زبان، به چهار مهارت speaking listening, writing و reading  نیز تسلط کافی داشته باشد. در موضوع یادگیری زبان نادیده انگاری یک مهارت به سایر موارد نیز آسیب میرساند. مهارت نوشتاری یکproductive skill می باشد که لازمه آن داشتن receptive skill کافی است، یعنی inputدریافتی بدین منظور باید بسیار قوی باشد. موارد ورودی شامل خواندن و شنیدن و دایره وسیع لغت و دانش گرامری است. زبان آموزان خواستار شرکت در آزمونهای مهم از قبیل دکتری وIELTS  به اهمیت یادگیری و داشتن مهارت لازم برای سپری کردن آزمونهای مورد نظر واقف هستند. بدین منظور شرکت در کلاسهای ویژه فراگیری مهارت نوشتاری و یادگیری موارد مهم و ضروری در چگونگی آغاز و بیان مطلب و نتیجه گیری از اهمیت ویژه ای برخوردار است.
